General Questions

Workiva Amplify brings together over 1,800 accounting, finance, and compliance professionals, industry thought leaders, and experts. The conference provides the opportunity for training and professional development, continuing education credit, sharing best practices, and networking with peers.

The conference is open to all Workiva customers and those interested in adopting Workiva solutions to optimize their business processes. Educational tracks are available for new and experienced users of all solutions and for individuals in all stages of their careers.

Business casual is suggested for all conference sessions. Jeans are acceptable. Suits and ties are not required. Casual attire is suggested for evening events. Evening events may include outdoor activities. All venues will be appropriately air conditioned and/or heated.

An attendee may purchase an evening event social pass during registration for an additional fee of $100. A guest pass includes access to only the Wednesday evening event. No guest pass will be available for purchase for the Monday evening event. Guests must be 21 years or older and accompanied by the conference registrant who purchased the guest pass.
Workiva welcomes the attendance of individuals with disabilities. Workiva will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations for attendees.

Mother's nursing rooms will be made available. The mother’s room is a private space where lactating mothers are welcome to pump.

By completing a Workiva Amplify registration, you are consenting to receive information from Workiva and conference sponsors.

If you have your badge scanned at a sponsor booth or in a sponsor session, you are consenting to receive information from that sponsor and for Workiva to share your information with them.

Registration includes four days of sessions, complimentary CPE credit, and daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks. In addition, attendees enjoy two exciting evening events featuring heavy appetizers and cocktails, industry meetups, and other special events. The registration fee does not include travel or lodging.
The SOX & Internal Controls Professionals Group Summit will take place on Monday, Sept. 9, from 1:30–5:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend.
Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration.
Purchase three passes for your organization and receive the fourth pass for free. Contact to receive your free code. Three attendees from the same organization must already be registered for the conference before a code for the fourth free registration pass will be provided. This cannot be combined with any other discount.
Only one promotional code or discount can be applied per registration. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer, package, or promotional code.

The minimum age to attend is 21 years, and no one under this age (including infants) will be admitted. If you are purchasing a guest pass, the individual must be 21 years of age.
Attendees must wear their registration badges at all times. A government issued ID stating you are at least 21 is required to pick up your registration badge and attend evening events.

Most presentation decks will be available online and on our mobile application for registrants once the conference begins. Please note, all speakers have the choice to opt out of sharing their presentations publicly.
Presentations can be found in the mobile app during the conference or in your agenda after the conference after logging into your conference profile.
You are now able to build your conference agenda. Try out the session builder here.
Building your conference agenda does not guarantee you a seat. You will be able to build your agenda as a way to organize the sessions you would like to attend. Session attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Space in sessions is limited.
Room assignments are subject to change up through the event. The conference mobile app will have the most up-to-date information on sessions and room assignments.
Sessions are lecture/presentation-style breakouts. If desired, an attendee may bring a notebook/pen or a laptop to take notes. For hands-on trainings, Workiva provides the required equipment and files needed to participate—personal laptops may not be used.
CPE credits will be sent out via email six weeks after the conference concludes.

Lodging and Location

The 2019 conference will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas.
After completing your registration, you will receive a link to reserve your room at the Gaylord Texan Resort, the host hotel for the conference.

No, all costs for air transportation, ground or airport transfers, and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. Special room rates have been negotiated for conference attendees.

The Gaylord Texan Resort has a daily resort fee of $20. This fee includes:

  • Wireless high-speed internet access
  • Fitness center and resort pools access
  • Two bottles of water per day
  • Discounted individual transportation services, City of Grapevine Shuttle
  • Complimentary access to Glass Cactus Nightclub for two, open Friday–Saturday only,
    ages 21 and up
  • Local (817) phone calls and local long distance phone calls
This fee is required by the hotel and is not optional.
The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is located five miles from the Gaylord Texan.
The Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center offers shuttle service and car service from the airport. For additional information, please visit the resort's website.
