CPE Disclosure Information

Program description:

Attendees will be able to choose breakout sessions and general sessions to learn best practices and approaches to internal and external reporting. Descriptions will be available when each session opens for registration.

Up to 15 CPE credits:

General and concurrent continuing professional education sessions will include some that qualify for CPE and some that do not. Each CPE-qualifying session will offer 1 or more CPE credits, based on 50 minutes of instruction per credit, with at least 15 CPE credits available overall.

Level:

There will be a mix of overview, basic, intermediate, and advanced level sessions.

Prerequisites:

Appropriate prerequisites will be listed by session.

Advanced preparation:

No advanced preparation required.

Will comprise: Accounting (SEC Practice), Auditing, Management Services (including Risk Management), Behavioral Ethics, Personal Development, Finance, and Computer Software and Applications.

Workiva is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Participants must participate in group interactions during the event, and participants must stay for the duration of the event, as described in the event details, in order to be eligible for CPE. For information regarding administrative policies such as a complaint or refund, please contact training@workiva.com. All CPE adjustments need to be requested within 45 days post-conference.

CPE dispute details:
  • Participants must stay for the duration of the session to be eligible for CPE. No partial credit is given for partial attendance.
  • Participants must keep their badges on them at all times during the conference as badges provide evidence of attendance for eligibility.
  • Eligibility disputes must be made within 45 days of the conference.
  • Participants that dispute their CPE eligibility for a session will be sent an assessment consisting of 3 content-based questions.
    • The participant will need to answer 2 of the 3 questions correctly on the assessment as evidence of attendance.
